Substrate: Exposed decaying wet sapwood portion of a chainsaw cut end of a Populus log
Associated Species: Populus sp.
Notes: Also present nearby were apothecia of Chlorosplenium aeruginascens and a species of Orbilia. Mixed with these 3 was an unidentified basidiomycetous bracket fungus. Two SMF microscope slides accompany this collection
