Georeference Remarks: circle around lake
Substrate: on exposed decaying wet sapwood portion of a chainsaw cut end of a Populus log
Associated Species: Populus sp.
Notes: Also nearby were numerous perithecia of Lasiosphaeria chrysentera (a member of the L. ovina complex) and a species of Orbilia. Mixed with these 3 was an unidentified basidiomycetous bracket fungus. Microscope slides also accompany this collection.
