Clyde clay loam, 0-3 % slopes (84) is a Typic Haplaquoll (this soil is now called Clyde silty clay loam and it is classified as a Typic Endoaquoll) and Floyd loam, 1 to 4 % slopes (198B) is an Aquic Hapludoll (this soil is now classified as an Aquic Pachic Hapludoll)
170+ ramets in the wet-mesic tallgrass prairie in three different subpopulations about 10m apart (north to south) ; less than 30% of the ramets have immature green sporophores and the rest are sterile
