Locality: United States, Minnesota, Pennington, Located three miles west and 0.75 miles south of St. Hilare, MN. Follow small access road which along the top of the beach ridge.

Habitat: Growing in a small strip of prairie near a series of old gravel pits. Voucher was growing with Toxicodendron rydbergii, Fragaria virginiana, Elymus canadensis, Lathyrus venosus, Helianthus grosseserratus, Monarda fistulosa, Poa pratensis, and Andropogon gerardii.
