Locality: United States, Minnesota, Red Lake, Located 7 miles south and 3 miles east of Red Lake Falls, MN. Plants in undisturbed soil at base of degraded beach ridge.

Habitat: Plants growing on in the interior of an Andropogon gerardii dominated mesic prairie. Voucher growing with Andropogon gerardii, Solidago altissima, Gallium boreale, Rosa arkansana. Only a few plants of Amorpha nana are present a this location.
