Locality: United States, Minnesota, Marshall, Located 5.5 Km to the southwest of Karlstad, MN. Located in one of the only remaining patches of prairie left on a mostly degraded beach ridge.

Habitat: Dry sand prairie- It appears that this area may have been mostly denuded of vegetation in the past, but is recovering with dry prairie from the propagule bank. Voucher was growing with Solidago rigida, Solidago nemoralis, Poa pretense, and Hesperostipa spartea.
