Habitat: Carex lasiocarpa dominated rich fen on Margin of Leech Lake. 100s of individuals throughout ~7 Acres. Consistently growing underneath Calamagrostis canadensis on drier hummocks. ~5% reproductive.
Associated Species: Common associates: Calamagrostis canadensis, Thelypteris palustris, Persicaria amphibia, and Salix candida.
