Habitat: Upland forest with rolling topography, ephemeral to seasonal wetland depressions common. Clay loam soil with sand component starting at 10cm; redox features present. Substantial earthworm impact (IERAT = 4). Canopy dominated by Populus tremuloides and red maple.
Associated Species: Common associates: Carex disperma, Lycopus uniflorus, Galium trifidum, and Calamagrostis canadensis
