Habitat: Partly to mostly shaded trail with rich fen species common. In shallow depression that seemed to hold water longer than the rest of the trail.
Associated Species: Common associates: Equisetum fluviatile, Leersia oryzoides, Carex sartwellii, Sagittaria latifolia, Carex aquatilis, and Caltha palustris.
Description: Collected because of unusual size and large diameter of stem (just under 2cm in diameter). Stems very delicate and broke very easily.
