Locality: United States, Minnesota, Marshall, Plants on over-washed beach ridge associated with glacial lake Agassiz located 1.75 miles to the northwest of Middle River, MN.

Habitat: Plants growing in mesic oak savanna. Canopy is composed of sparse bur oak (Quercus Macrocarpon) and aspen (Populus tremuloides) with a ground layer that is strongly dominated by big bluestem(Andropogon gerardii) and Sedges (Carex spp). Soils are sandy loam over sand.
