Description: Erect columnar cactus to 1 m tall, growing in clumps; atop rocks of the steep verticle slopes; flowers with petals, filaments and styles magenta; stigmas green; anthers orange-red; fruits dark purple with black seeds; fruiting and flowering around total circumference of apex of plant.
