small tree, to 8.3 m in height, DBH 8 cm, trunk height to foliage 5 m, crown height 3.3 m, crown width 4.2 m; foliage 1.1 kg mature wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures horizontal, broad; bark light brown, grey, green; cambium light brown, white, cream; wood white, cream; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: vaivai Local use: Timber for fence construction and for posts and frame in house construction; firewood; digging tool to plant crops
