pandanus, to 7.21 m in height, DBH 5 cm, trunk height to foliage 4.71 m, crown height 2.5 m, crown width 1.2 m, stilt roots up to 0.65 m, spines or thorns present; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass, 0.1243 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth; bark white, grey; cambium white; wood light brown, yellow, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: kerei Local use: Leaves for roofing and trunk for flooring in house construction
