tree, to 17.75 m in height, DBH 19.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 9.6 m, crown height 8.15 m, crown width 8.85 m, buttresses up to 0.15 m; foliage 13 kg mature wet mass, 0 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark dark brown, brown; cambium dark brown; wood light brown, white, cream; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: malang malang Local use: used for fencing, young leaves are chewed with betel nuts, timber for house construction, used for constructing small huts, used for firewood
