tree, to 23.25 m in height, DBH 30.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 8.25 m, crown height 15 m, crown width 5 m, buttresses up to 0.3 m; foliage 30.4 kg mature wet mass, 0.1066 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, horizontal, narrow; bark dark brown, brown, light brown; cambium brown, light brown; wood brown, light brown, yellow; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kunu Local use: fruits and young leaves are cooked for food, bark used for making bilum
