tree, to 10.9 m in height, DBH 9.7 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.1 m, crown height 5.8 m, crown width 3.9 m; foliage 1.3 kg mature wet mass, 0 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark brown; cambium light brown; wood black, light brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: kunu Local use: fruits and young leaves are cooked for food, bark used for making bilum
