tree, to 23.43 m in height, DBH 19.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.65 m, crown height 17.78 m, crown width 4.29 m; foliage 11 kg mature wet mass, 0.0358 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, broad, narrow; bark brown, grey, green; cambium light brown, white; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kunu Local use: fruits and young leaves are cooked for food, bark used for making bilum
