tree, to 8.9 m in height, DBH 5.7 cm, trunk height to foliage 3.8 m, crown height 5.1 m, crown width 1.8 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass, 0.0623 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark grey, green; cambium dark brown; wood brown, light brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kugad kugad Local use: digging stick for planting; posts for house framing; used for construction of beds, small huts, and tables
