tree, to 12.5 m in height, DBH 16 cm, trunk height to foliage 6.9 m, crown height 5.6 m, crown width 5.15 m; foliage 3.4 kg mature wet mass, 0 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures horizontal, broad; bark black, light brown, white, grey, green; cambium brown, light brown; wood brown, light brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: yandu yandu Local use: digging stick for planting, posts for house framing
