tree, to 13 m in height, DBH 7.2 cm, trunk height to foliage 8.77 m, crown height 4.23 m, crown width 3.75 m, stilt roots up to 0.35 m; foliage 2 kg mature wet mass, 0.0416 kg juvenile wet mass; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, grey; cambium red; wood red; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kui yalum dugag maku Local use: timber for house construction, used for building small huts
