Description: tree, to 9.54 m in height, DBH 14 cm, trunk height to foliage 3.51 m, crown height 6.03 m, crown width 4.44 m; foliage 4 kg mature wet mass, 0 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark black, dark brown, brown, light brown, white, grey; cambium black, dark brown; wood dark brown, orange, yellow; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kingu Local use: small bush tables to put bananas and sweet potatoes.
