tree, to 8.1 m in height, DBH 5.6 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.8 m, crown height 2.3 m, crown width 3.5 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass, 0 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark black, dark brown, grey; cambium dark brown, brown, light brown; wood black, light brown, yellow; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: malang malang Local use: used for fencing, young leaves are chewed with betel nuts, timber for house construction, used for constructing small huts, used for firewood
