Description: tree, to 13.12 m in height, DBH 7.5 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.47 m, crown height 7.65 m, crown width 4.77 m; foliage 3.8 kg mature wet mass, 0.2449 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark black, dark brown, brown, light brown, white, grey; cambium dark brown, brown; wood black, dark brown, brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: maksang kumba Local use: used for fencing gardens and also used as fire wood.
