tree, to 11.65 m in height, DBH 6.4 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.65 m, crown height 6 m, crown width 2.2 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass, 0.0618 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark flaky, with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark black, dark brown, light brown, green; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: maksang kisil kununung Local use: timber for house construction, hornbills feed on seeds
