tree, to 9.85 m in height, DBH 5.3 cm, trunk height to foliage 6.2 m, crown height 3.65 m, crown width 2.82 m; foliage 1.6 kg mature wet mass, 0.0391 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, horizontal, broad, narrow; bark black, dark brown, brown, yellow, white; cambium brown, light brown, white; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: kunu Local use: fruits and young leaves are cooked for food, bark used for making bilum
