Description: tree, to 12.85 m in height, DBH 8.4 cm, trunk height to foliage 2.35 m, crown height 10.5 m, crown width 3.4 m, buttresses up to 0.1 m; foliage 1.2 kg mature wet mass, 0.0552 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, light brown; cambium brown, light brown; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
