Description: tree, to 20.1 m in height, DBH 14.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 10.1 m, crown height 10 m, crown width 10 m, buttresses up to 0.3 m; foliage 3 kg mature wet mass, 0.2387 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, horizontal, narrow; bark brown, light brown, white; cambium brown, light brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
