Description: tree, to 11.6 m in height, DBH 7.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 2.9 m, crown height 8.7 m, crown width 3.2 m, buttresses up to 0.1 m; foliage 6.1 kg mature wet mass, 0.1928 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, light brown, white; cambium brown, light brown; wood brown, light brown, yellow; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: sigil sigil Local use: can cause skin irritation when burned in fire, used for constructing balconies, small huts, and bridges
