tree, to 13.6 m in height, DBH 19.5 cm, trunk height to foliage 4.45 m, crown height 9.15 m, crown width 6.42 m; foliage 12 kg mature wet mass, 0.8794 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough; fissures vertical, horizontal, broad, narrow; bark black, white, grey; cambium brown, light brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tikul Local use: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, cambium used for tying roof of houses
