tree, to 12.59 m in height, DBH 10.5 cm, trunk height to foliage 9.35 m, crown height 3.24 m, crown width 3.55 m; foliage 5.5 kg mature wet mass, 0.3608 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, rough, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark black, dark brown, brown, light brown, pink, white, grey; cambium dark brown; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tikul Local use: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, cambium used for tying roof of houses
