tree, to 21.5 m in height, DBH 31.3 cm, trunk height to foliage 11.45 m, crown height 10.05 m, crown width 10.45 m; foliage 24.2 kg mature wet mass, 0.3012 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark black, dark brown, brown, grey; cambium dark brown, brown, red; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: tikul Local use: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, cambium used for tying roof of houses
