Description: tree, to 11.7 m in height, DBH 9 cm, trunk height to foliage 10 m, crown height 1.7 m, crown width 1.5 m; foliage 0.8 kg mature wet mass, 0.0589 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark brown, light brown, white; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tikul Local use: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, cambium used for tying roof of houses
