tree, to 18.5 m in height, DBH 12.6 cm, trunk height to foliage 16.7 m, crown height 1.8 m, crown width 2.6 m; foliage 0.8 kg mature wet mass, 0.098 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures broad; bark brown, light brown, white; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tikul Local use: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, cambium used for tying roof of houses
