Description: tree, to 16.85 m in height, DBH 17.1 cm, trunk height to foliage 2 m, crown height 14.85 m, crown width 8.95 m, buttresses up to 0.25 m; foliage 15 kg mature wet mass, 0.4465 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures horizontal, broad; bark dark brown, pink, white, grey; cambium dark brown, brown, light brown; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
