Description: tree, to 20.65 m in height, DBH 16.8 cm, trunk height to foliage 8.6 m, crown height 12.05 m, crown width 4.44 m, buttresses up to 0.33 m; foliage 7.5 kg mature wet mass, 0.1488 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark dark brown, brown, white; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
