tree, to 17.8 m in height, DBH 11.1 cm, trunk height to foliage 9.4 m, crown height 8.4 m, crown width 4.41 m; foliage 4.5 kg mature wet mass, 0.2682 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark flaky, with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark black, brown, light brown, white; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
