tree, to 20.46 m in height, DBH 16.5 cm, trunk height to foliage 13.1 m, crown height 7.36 m, crown width 7.77 m, buttresses up to 0.4 m; foliage 7.2 kg mature wet mass, 0.1745 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark black, dark brown, brown, orange, white, green; cambium brown; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung Local use: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables
