pandanus, to 23.3 m in height, DBH 17.2 cm, trunk height to foliage 16.3 m, crown height 7 m, crown width 10.8 m, stilt roots up to 7.3 m; foliage 10.2 kg mature wet mass, 0.68 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures horizontal, broad; bark brown, light brown, grey; cambium light brown, white; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: jigan Local use: split stems used for fencing, flooring, and house posts; leaves used for thatched roofing
