tree, to 20.4 m in height, DBH 12 cm, trunk height to foliage 14.5 m, crown height 5.9 m, crown width 4.9 m, buttresses up to 0.45 m; foliage 6 kg mature wet mass, 0.292 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, light brown, grey; cambium light brown, yellow, white; wood light brown, yellow, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: siviri Local use: timber for house and fencing construction; bark used to prepare a treatment for sores
