small tree, to 9.3 m in height, DBH 5.9 cm, trunk height to foliage 5.1 m, crown height 4.2 m, crown width 1.7 m; foliage 2 kg mature wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark light brown, white, grey; wood brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: kec; nim; kanombingbing Local use: timber for house post and framing; axe and spade handles
