Description: tree, to 27.35 m in height, trunk height to foliage 10.7 m, crown height 16.65 m, crown width 15.26 m, buttresses up to 1 m; foliage 48 kg mature wet mass, 0.02709 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical, broad; bark brown; cambium red; wood white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: daemep Local use: timber for house construction; juice is swallowed to remedy stomach infection
