pandanus, to 8.6 m in height, DBH 6.8 cm, trunk height to foliage 2.3 m, crown height 6.3 m, crown width 6.6 m; foliage 40 kg mature wet mass, 0.421 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough; bark white; cambium white; wood white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: jigan Local use: split stems used for flooring and fireplaces; leaves used for thatched roofing and weaving mats and string bags
