small tree, to 13.6 m in height, DBH 8.8 cm, trunk height to foliage 9.7 m, crown height 3.9 m, crown width 2.6 m, buttresses up to 0.6 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass, 0.126 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth; fissures vertical, narrow; bark dark brown, brown; cambium light brown, white; wood light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: koyo Local use: timber for house and fencing construction
