Description: small tree, to 11.2 m in height, DBH 5.6 cm, trunk height to foliage 6.6 m, crown height 4.6 m, crown width 3 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown; cambium light brown, white; wood light brown; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: sumsum Local use: latex used as glue to attach dried aninmal skins to drums, for tuning drums, and on arrows; timber for fence construction and firewood
