small tree, to 8.1 m in height, DBH 5.5 cm, trunk height to foliage 6 m, crown height 2.1 m, crown width 3.2 m, stilt roots up to 0.33 m; foliage 0.5 kg mature wet mass, 0.088 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, light brown, grey; cambium light brown, yellow, white; wood light brown, yellow, white; exudate absent, from felled plot. Local name: koyo Local use: timber for house and fencing construction
