Description: small tree, to 7.7 m in height, DBH 8.8 cm, trunk height to foliage 1.3 m, crown height 6.4 m, crown width 4.6 m; foliage 5 kg mature wet mass, 0.114 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark dark brown, brown, light brown, grey; cambium brown, light brown, white; wood brown, light brown, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: Udan Local use: Firewood and wood shed; Fruit bait for birds; bark is used to manipulate hair and to make dread locks.
