small tree, to 6.68 m in height, DBH 6.1 cm, trunk height to foliage 1.38 m, crown height 5.3 m, crown width 3 m; foliage 3 kg mature wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark white; cambium light brown; wood white; exudate orange; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: mongtop Local use: timber for house construction, posts, fencing and firewood; also used to light fires by friction with strip of bamboo
