Habitat:
Local in a fairly large granitic outcrop - jack pine barrens complex on the west side of Gasket Lake. Occasional to frequent, scattered clumps and small patches in shallow dry soil over bedrock, on a gradual to moderately steep southeast-facing slope. Full sun to partial shade of Pinus banksiana.
