Local in a rather extensive granitic outcrop complex, atop a large cliff and talus feature on the steep, 240-foot, southeast-facing slope above the western arm of Cam Lake. Frequent, especially on the upper portion of the rather steeply-sloping bedrock. Loose clumps in thin dry soil. Full sun to partial shade of Pinus banksiana.
