Habitat:
Local on 50-foot granitic cliffs, on the extremely steep lower portion of a 200-foot, southeast-facing slope on the shore of Cuckoo Lake. Scattered robust clumps on mid-cliff ledges in a zone where dripping groundwater from above maintains a moist to wet microsite (which likely dampened the effects of the 2006 wildfire that burned the surrounding landscape. Full sun.
